To ensure the highest level of country detection accuracy, it is important that your countries.cdd file is kept up-to-date. cyScape periodically sends out updates to this file via email to all customers that have an active subscription to CountryHawk.
To install these updates, simply copy the new countries.cdd file over your existing file. The next time the CountryHawk object handles a request, it will automatically flush the old data and load in the updated data on-the-fly. Therefore there is no need to restart your application or web services for the update to take place.
