My web site is hosted by an ISP. Does BrowserHawk need to be installed on their servers?

Yes - BrowserHawk is a server-side component and, therefore, needs to be installed on the server where your web site is hosted.
Start by asking your hosting company whether BrowserHawk is currently available on your hosted server. If not, ask whether they will install it for you.
Some hosting companies will purchase the software and install it for you - others will install it if you purchase it on your own.
Lastly, a few hosting providers do not allow you to run installation programs but do give you the ability to register components on your own. In this case search the knowledge base for information on how to install BrowserHawk manually.
There are several popular ISPs and web hosting companies that make BrowserHawk available on their web servers for you to use from your scripts. A partial list of referrals can be found on our Hosting Referrals page.
