Q   How do I get updates to the browser definition files?

A   cyScape actively maintains its Browser Definition Files (BDF) to ensure that BH accurately detects all the browsers and devices in use today.

To make sure your BH software detects all devices correctly it is very important that your BDF files are kept up to date.

As long as your Support and Maintenance is kept current (renewable yearly) you will have access to all BDF updates cyScape makes available.

If you have the Professional or Enterprise Edition of BrowserHawk you can set up BrowserHawk to monitor cyScape for updates and optionally download and install them when available. If you have the Standard Edition (or prefer to download manually if you have the Pro/Enterprise Edition) the updates can be downloaded manually by opening the BrowserHawk Editor and choosing "Download latest BDF from cyScape" from the Special menu.
