I have a page that does extended property detection but when I hit it with Netscape or Firefox the test page never completes. When I test with IE and Opera it works great. What could cause this?

Your page most likely is testing certain Java properties (either because you specifically asked for Java properties or specified "ALL" for the extended properties to test), and the JVMDetector.class file is not being found by the browser.
