Some of the .NET samples installed by BrowserHawk are giving errors such as Could not load type '_default' and Could not load type 'PLT_default'. What is causing this?

Although BrowserHawk itself will run just fine under the .NET framework 1.1, the samples that ship with BrowserHawk which use code behind files require the .NET framework 2.0 or higher to run.
If you have the .NET framework installed please adjust the web site properties using MMC and the ASP.NET tab to select the framework 2.0 or higher for the web site under which the samples are running under, then restarting IIS and retry.
If you cannot run .NET 2.0 or higher than you may want to edit the samples so that run under the .NET 1.1 framework.
